What You Need

  • Flat floor

  • Timer or phone clock

  • Video camera

How to Set Up

  • Start in a plank position:

  • Hands under shoulders

  • Body straight from head to heels

  • Feet hip-width

What Goes in the Form

  • Video of pushup test.

Quick Instructions

  • Set a timer for 30 seconds.

  • Perform as many full-range, clean pushups as possible:

    • Chest fist width off the ground

    • Arms straighten fully at the top

  • Count only reps with correct form.

  • Video entire body and upload to form.

  • Stop early if form breaks or if you feel pain.
